Visitor updates
It is sometimes necessary to close areas of the Estate for operational reasons. Please check visitor updates before you travel.
Given the size of Windsor Great Park, it’s important to choose the correct car park for your visit. For detailed information including parking prices, SAT NAV and What 3 Words codes, please visit our Parking page.
Please be aware that only residents and staff are permitted to drive through Windsor Great Park. If your Sat Nav directs you through one of our gates, please continue around the Estate until it finds the correct route.
The only car park that can accommodate coaches is The Savill Garden car park and spaces, which are limited, must be booked in advance. Please visit our Groups page.
There are several stations within a 15-20 minute taxi ride of Windsor Great Park. Visit National Rail Enquiries for tickets.
Visiting the Savill Garden
The nearest station is Egham on the South Western line from London Waterloo.
Visiting Windsor Town Centre
Use either the South Western Railway to Windsor and Eton Riverside from London Waterloo, or the Great Western Railway to Windsor Central (via change at Slough) from London Paddington.
Visiting Virginia Water
The nearest station is Virginia Water on the South Western line from London Waterloo.
The White Bus 01 Service (between Windsor High Street and Ascot Train Station) runs through the Great Park, Monday to Saturday.
National Cycle Route 4 (London to Fishguard) passes directly through Windsor Great Park and is the only permitted cycle path in the Great Park. Other cycling paths are available and do change to ensure that all of our visitors have an enjoyable and safe visit. Check our cycling guidelines before you visit.
