Adventure Play is a unique, hand-crafted adventure playground at Windsor Great Park. Hidden within the woodland next to The Savill Garden, you’ll discover a fascinating world of walkways, slides, sculptures and treehouses.
But this is not just for the children.
Whether they want to climb among the trees or explore the amazing giant acorns, you can be right there, feeding their imagination and watching their confidence grow. Because this is play like you remember it – getting close to nature, challenging the body and stimulating the senses.
All are welcome, whatever their age, need or ability.

- Registered assistance dogs are welcome in all public access areas across the Windsor Estate. If your dog does not respond to recall then it should be on lead
- Emotional support dogs are welcome in Adventure Play. Please present a letter from your GP at the Welcome Desk on the day of your visit
- All permitted dogs visiting Adventure Play should be on a short, solid lead
- Therapy dogs are not permitted in Adventure Play for the reason that, these dogs are not trained to live with a specific individual and are not trained to support or respond to the handler’s specific needs
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are highly trained to:
- not jump up
- not wander freely
- sit or lie down at their owners feet
- bark only when alerting their handler to an emergency
Emotional support dogs
We would expect a similar degree of behaviour for emotional support dogs. Should your companion become uncomfortable in the space, or not be behaving appropriately around other visitors, we ask that you remove them from the Building or Adventure Play to allow them to regain their calm and focus before being re-admitted. This may also help them to more quickly respond to your needs.
If possible, arrangements can also be made for you to return on a separate occasion without your emotional support dog.
Buying your tickets
Tickets for Adventure Play must be booked in advance and will be released periodically.
