Windsor Great Park

Part of the Windsor Estate, Windsor Great Park is an ancient Royal landscape formed by  a remarkable mix of ancient forests, grasslands, lakes and formal gardens and shaped by over 1,000 years of history Visitors can explore historical monuments, rare wildlife habitats and National Collections of plants and Champion Trees.

As a living, working landscape, the Windsor Estate supports Farms and a Farm Shop, a vineyard, a commercial forestry operation and residential and commercial lettings. It also includes Home Park Public, a cherished green space close to the town of Windsor offering opportunities for recreation, sports and events alongside the Thames Path.

Home to a thriving business community, the Estate covers approximately 6,400 hectares (15,800 acres),  stretching  around 10 miles from Windsor Castle in the North to Camberley in the South.

Discover Windsor Great Park

Windsor Great Park is open all year round and is free to enter. We do charge for parking, entry to The Savill Garden, and tickets for Adventure Play with these charges contributing to the conservation and stewardship work across the Windsor Estate.
